Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 資訊工程系 === 104 === With the advent of public cloud services, more and more companies or organizations want to make their information systems to be migrated to the public cloud infrastructure, because the cloud has nearly unlimited computing power and storage space, the size of the dynamic scaling of resources used and other features to improve the system availability, reliability. The major goal of this research is to study how an information system can be migrated to the public cloud architecture. In this paper, we use a real cloud application (i.e., virtual teaching and experiment classroom system) as a case study, and transplant it to the Amazon cloud architecture. Through the study of Amazon related documents and use of Amazon provides SDK (Software Development Kit), we has shown how to realize a system transplantation to the cloud. Through measuring system start-up time and latency of applications, we verify the quality of public cloud services, and the feasibility of our system design. From the results of test, we conclude that implementing information systems in the cloud may be quite feasible and stable. The future study can be designing a dynamic extension mechanism, where the system could be dynamically extended to public cloud when required resources exceed the system capacity.
