In this study, by using ASP.NET as tools, we constructed a comprehensive online platform for financial planning which could provide different levels of financial services, from simple self-services to customized services which should be assisted by the financial advisors.
Different from past finance sites which only offered front-end financial planning analysis or back-end financial product advices, the functions of the developed system ranged from customer contact, generating the financial management report, and, in the end providing product suggestions.
The system developed in this study linked goods including various insurance products to prodect clients’ risk and mutual funds to increase value of clients’ wealth. The optimal suggestions could be made by specific designed algorithms developed in this research.
Finally, in order to put the achievement of research results into practice, we desinged different business models based on the developed system.
