When the accident occurred, the preservation of evidence is particularly important. Therefore, car camera recorder plays an important role in clarifying the cause of the accident. In this research, we use the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) as the research framework to discussion which factors influence users’ usage intention and actual behavior of using car camera recorder. Using the questionnaire survey and analyze data through SPSS 22.0 statistical Software, through statistical methods contains descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, path analysis and moderator analysis. To understand the user's current intentions and actual behavior of use car camera recorder. The results show: First, the users' performance expectation, efforts expectation and social impact of car camera recorder, will affect users' behavioral intention of using car camera recorder. Second, users' facilitating conditions of the car camera recorder and behavioral intention of using car camera recorder, will affect actual behavior of using car camera recorder. Third, "gender" is a moderator between efforts expectation and behavioral intention of using car camera recorder. Therefore, this study suggests, to improve users' performance expectation, efforts expectation, social impact and facilitating condition can increase behavioral intention and actual behavior of using car camera recorder. Furthermore, in order to enhance behavioral intentions of the user, in effort expectations we can make the difference gender part especially.
