Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 人力資源發展系碩士班 === 104 === A procedure is objectives of this thesis as follows: 1.To analyze the volunteering processes of mid-life women. 2.To investigate the experiences of empowerment involving volunteer in order to take reference and application in life for mid-life women. The conclusion of this research as follows: 1.Reasons being a mid-life female volunteer due to retirement or studying divorce healing courses or studying parent-Child relationship courses and the influence of original family or parents’ behavior and custom to helping others. 2.Difficulties of being a mid-life female volunteer including service determining, volunteer in organization and social assessment. 3.Attitude of a mid-life female volunteer’ family including support or seeing the mid-life female volunteer’ better behavior then from opposition to support. 4.Prospects of being a mid-life female volunteer related to professional skills learning, organization maintaining and contributing to the community. 5.Empowerment of being a mid-life female volunteer related to self-care and professional skills. Based on this research, the suggestions for future researches as follows: 1.The organization of mid-life female volunteers better included management to enhance volunteer service work value. 2.Volunteers introduction better included in mid-life female retirement planning, growth or parenting courses. 3.Plus the knowing of original family in mid-life female volunteer interview to improve retention rates.
