Mobile game occupies a significant portion of the total amount of dollar consumption. Due to the rapid development of mobile phone, more and more game vendors step into the profitable market, and develop a variety of game types under the highly competitive environment. Among various kinds of development tools, Processing is an extension of the Java language without complex interface environment. And it supports many existing Java language structures. What's more, it offers sweet and humanized design with much more simple syntax. The main purpose of the study is to find out the common mode of the games, and shorten the design time to increase the development efficiency with 2D shooting games as the research object. The games are written under the Processing development environment with Android smart phones as execution environment. The implementation process contains many game design skills, such as interface design and control, level design, sound, movement path, collision detection.
