碩士 === 開南大學 === 觀光運輸學院碩士在職專班 === 104 === The purpose of this research was to explore the relationships between elementary school teachers’ personality traits and the types of leisure activities. The population of this research were the public elementary school teachers in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City. Among 400 questionnaires delivered, 363 effective questionnaires were received. The effective response rate was 90.7%. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé post comparison and Regression Analysis. There were five conclusions obtained after SPSS 18.0 processing. 1.The public elementary school teachers in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City had a positive personality. The Conscientiousness was the personality owned by most teachers. 2.The leisure activities frequency of the public elementary school teachers in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City was at high intermediate level, of which the family recreational activities had highest frequency. 3.There was a significant difference between teachers’ personality traits with different gender, education level, working years, marital status, and current position. 4.The type of leisure activities varied greatly according to different gender, ages, education level, working years, marital status, and current position. 5.The elementary school teachers’ personality traits had an significant effect for predicting teachers’ leisure activities participation.
