A study on Leisure Participation, Leisure Satisfaction and Job Stress of Elementary School Teachers at Taoyuan district, Taoyuan City

碩士 === 開南大學 === 觀光運輸學院碩士在職專班 === 104 === The main purpose of this study was to understand the relationships between leisure participation, satisfaction and job stress of elementary school teachers at Taoyuan district, Taoyuan city. The researcher applied documentary analysis, questionnaires, and interviews to gather the first-hand research data. The subjects of the questionnaires were 23 conviently elementary school teachers at Taoyuan district, Taoyuan city. A total of 395 questionnaires were mailed, and there were 363 effective questionnaires. The return rate of the usable questionnaire was 91.2%. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe’ comparative method, Pearson’s product moment correlation with the use of SPSS program. The findings of this study were as follows: (1) The levels of teachers’ leisure participation at Taoyuan district, Taoyuan city were below the average, and the highest is “informative”. (2) The levels of teachers’ leisure satisfaction at Taoyuan district, Taoyuan city were above the average, and the highest level is the “relaxation”. (3) The levels of teachers’ job stress at Taoyuan district , Taoyuan city were moderate, but “work loading” was above average score. (4) There was no significant difference in the population statistics variables of teachers’ leisure participation regarding elementary school teachers. (5) There was no significant difference in the population statistics variables of teachers’ leisure satisfaction regarding elementary school teachers. (6) There was no obvious difference in the population statistics variables of teachers’ job stress regarding elementary school teachers. (7) The correlations between leisure participation and leisure satisfaction of elementary school teachers were positive; The correlations between leisure participation ＆leisure satisfaction and job stress of elementary school teachers were not positive. Based on the results of this study, some suggestions are made to the educational administration organizations and schools ,as well as future study.
