| Summary: | 碩士 === 開南大學 === 商學院碩士在職專班 === 104 === During the phase of software system development, many enterprises face the problems of high system development cost, delay in system development schedule, and ineffectiveness of system development because of a lack of appropriate control mechanism. Therefore, project management becomes an important control mechanism and an effective communication tool. In other words, communication of any system development project can be done through project management performance reports to increase the effectiveness of system development plans.
Our study uses a qualitative research, focusing on actual cases of software system development, and obtains the following conclusions and suggestion after applying project management techniques to perform case studies: project management technique is an important control tool for system development projects; PDCA cycle is an important control technique in successful project management; The combination of PDCA cycle and STEPS model can successfully assist enterprises to increase the effective of system development.
