ABSTRACT
Corruption has been concerned and noticed worldwide. Since Xi Jinping becamePresident of the PRC, anti-corruption policy soon became a priority of political reform. The CCP government initiated investigations of corruption of four high-level officials, i.e., Bo Xilai, Zhou Yungkang, Xu Caihou and Ling Jihua. Under the leadership of President Xi, political reform concentrated on anti-corruption and discipline examination of political cadres and public officials. It seems to be a key component to keep the party-state surviving because officials’ bribery and embezzlement smashed public faith. However, reform policy in the economic, political, and military arena would affect the future of the party-state construction. This research analyzes four cases separately, trying to figure out what made the CCP government vulnerable and why such a huge impact that the corruption has made to the communist regime.
Key words:anti-corruption、rule of law、political reformation.
