Comparison of Chinese and Western medical peptic ulcers without recurrence within one year of use. Methods One million people nationwide sample return profile data of the present study, the National Health Insurance database as a data source, Chi-square experimental design, retrospective analysis of secondary data. The subjects in the January 1, 1997 to December 2012 during peptic ulcer (Peptic Ulcer) (primary diagnosis code: 533.9) cases, the number of cases total of 581,586 pieces. Then the subjects were divid-ed into participation in Chinese medical treatment and acceptance of Western medicine treatment groups. In this study, outpatient prescrip-tions of the National Institutes of Health to provide and treatment details of files (CD), specialist certificates master file (DOC), medical institutions basic information file (HOSB), series coverage data file (ID) after data processing, this Research and Discussion on Chinese medical treatment of peptic ulcer patients receiving Western medicine treatment groups were aggregated data analysis and evaluation. Research tools for the SPSS 20.0 statistical software to perform st-atistical analysis into descriptive statistics (including mean, standard deviation, percentage) and inferential statistics (including the indepen-dent samples t-test, Chi-square test, multiple regression analysis, logistic regression analysis) data analysis and verification of hypothes-es. And the use of Microsoft Office 2016 software package in the excel 2016 data compiled restructuring. Finally Chinese medical treatment and western medicine treatment groups receiving medical times, differences in medical use of medical expenses compared. Results In this study, the time span from 1997 to 2012 so far, a total of six-teen years. One million people go to the data files, we found patients by the year 1997 the number of 514 to 2012 year 17,223 people, the number of upward trend. The same time the country also has an in-creasing number of population situation, but based on 2000-2012 po-pulation growth of only 3.71%. Sixteen years of peptic ulcer sex ratio: Male from about 42.4 to 50.4 %, women about 49.6 to 57.6%, the ratio of women suffering from pe-ptic ulcer disease than men, about the gap of about 10%. People suf-fering from peptic ulcer doctor, aged 40.05 ± 15.8 years in 1997 to 2012, 54 ± 17.64 years, showing a slowly rising trend. By independent samples t-test, Chi-square test, found that patients with peptic ul-cer in Chinese medicine or western medicine consultation, patients see a sig-nificant difference in age of diagnosis and medical institutions where the group health insurance business; but patient sex, patient the insur-ed amount (SES), the residence of the population density and other treatment patterns institutes and special category no significant diff-erence. From 1997 to 2012 until the 16 years between Chinese and Western medical expenses 7009.05 points, Chinese medical expenses 6585.96 points, both in the independent samples t test p = .083, no significant differences. On the basis of the above information to pro-pensity score matching method (Propensity score matching), subjects were divided into Chinese medical treatment group and western medicine group 3,480 people 10,440 people, as a follow-inferential statistical information needed. Conclusion and Suggestion The incidence of peptic ulcer population tended to increase and there is aging trend. Health-related agencies in the implementation of national health policies and long-term care policy, should pay particu- lar attention to this field. Peptic ulcer present, because medical tech- nology is mature, has not incurable. So how more efficient use of medical resources, so that peptic ulcer patients have a better quality of life, it should be the direction of the next phase of the government health decisions should efforts.
