Nowadays, many organizations want to implement CSR in their business operations. CSR has become a new trend in the world for a long time. Due to social pressure, many big corporations and enterprises in Vietnam have set a constructive CSR criteria are central to the overall business strategy to improve their performance and face a lot of challenges of development. Nevertheless, there are some problems in CSR implementation by Vietnamese companies, especially the small and medium size. The knowledge of CRS in Vietnam is limited because there have not been many researchers and studies on the CSR field. There are particular cases and scandals concerning about CSR such as case of Vedan Company, Thanh Cong Company, Sabeco Song Lam Company and Tung Khuang Company. It can be consider as the result of the economic boom and companies only want to reach profit as much as possible. This means that CSR has become a necessary topic for the researchers to investigate in. The objective of the research is to access the understanding concept of CSR and other relevant components under this area. Moreover, by asking Vietnamese companies managers, it is able to show the awareness about CSR of Vietnamese companies and which factors influence the implementation CSR activities in Vietnam. The collected data are compared and collated to research question answers. From the view, this researches could try to give some solutions and using tools to increase the awareness about CSR, and enhance the CSR implementation to make the things better in Vietnam.
