Description
Summary:碩士 === 華夏科技大學 === 資訊科技與管理研究所碩士在職專班 === 104 === The research aims to develop the professional and occupational competency standard of nursing aides in care services. The aspects of knowledge with reference to the training program from Social and Family Affairs Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare are found completed by documentary analysis based on the developmental theories of professional competence, Examination in Level C technician for caring service of Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor, and the content of nursing aides training program regulation from Ministry of Health and Welfare. However, the technical aspects of professional competence are diverse while the important parts which need to be proficient are not listed in detail. Therefore, the research adopts close-ended questionnaires and invites 35 professionals from long-term care facilities, including the managers of long-term care facilities, nursing staffs, and nursing aides to complete the questionnaires about the importance of technical aspects of professional competence. Thus, the six aspects of professional competence and 32 core items are built up by exploratory factor analysis. The six aspects, which could provide training facilities with educational purposes and recruitment uses, are listed as follows according to the ranking order of importance: special professional techniques, first-aid professional techniques, work ethics, specific emergency professional techniques, basic professional techniques and special nursing techniques. Moreover, “interpersonal and communication skills” is found to be the most important element in “work ethics.” Nursing aides needs to face not only the patients but also their family and the doctor. After that, they need to “write records of caring services correctly” and “recognize hospice care as well as palliative care.”
