It is greatly improved in people’s live and enviroment. However, it is the more demend in the public service. In terms of firefighter service,the more complicated of society, the more frequency and variety of accident could occurred, such as high rise building fire, gas explosion, mudflow and flood etc. The civilian usually request 119 to dispach ambulance in non-emergency situation. Those activities will lead to firefighter overwork and in adequate of manpower. The overrun duty services could easy result in firefighter injury and shortage in rescue ability. For example: July 23, 2009, Yongho District apartment fire cause a fireman suffering steam heat penetrated the skin resulting in second degree burns during fire extinguishing; May 22,2010, a female firefighter drop from elevated hood cause a pelvic fracture during cope with ember;October 26, 2010, Maggie typhoon caused a road collapse, led to a rescue firefighter right foot lacerations by rock hit; October 1, 2011, a female fireighter conducted a first aid service at New Taipei City was collision by drunking driver and resulting in right thigh amputation;February 12, 2012, fire broke out due to a beef noodle shop gas leak explosion at Wenhua Road, Linkou, led to five fire-fighters vital burns injury; Kaohsiung and Shin-ding gas explosion in recently also caused a significant firefighter harm. Fire disaster is numerous violations and unpredictable. The objective in the future should strive in how to reduce the number of injuries and ensure the life safety of firefighters. 2001, 2002, respectively, according to the publish of EU organizations ,the key indicator approach "artificial material handling" checklist shows the risk of the fire service is a high ranking.Basically,increase the rating points,the risk of overloading the musculoskeletal system will increase. In reducing the lifting work load or reduce the number of job placement, the risk value,will decrease,as will as reduce the injuries of musculoskelet. 1. Reduce the work load rating index: improving way a stretcher bed instead of hand handling in staircase. 2. Reduce the posture rating points index: When conducts the service, the loading of lifting or carrying had to close to your body, slightly bending or twisting of the trunk, the value of risk will be reduced to 16. 3. Changing men and women load weight: The load duty by male and female reduce, will decrease the load index and risk value.
