The life adjustment problems college Students, result in emotional distress, depression and other adverse symptoms. In Taiwan, more than 40 percent of college students, have sleep problems. Although the popularity of the Internet has brought changes to modern life, the problem of Internet addiction has also become increasingly serious. And tertiary students are among the high-risk groups. Anxiety a day from without using internet, has increased from 13.4% in 2011 to 23.6% in 2014. This indicates what the correlation between mood, sleep, and internet usage is worth further exploration. Purpose:Our study was designed to evaluate the factors that affect sleep quality of college students. Based on the information of mood status, sleep quality, internet use behaviour, moderating effect . Methods:This study adopted a cross-sectional design. The population was all university students of HungKuang University in Taichung. It used stratified cluster sampling method with a self-administered questionnaire, 976 valid samples were collected.The structured questionnaire included Depression Anxiety and Stress Scales (DASS-21). Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI), Internet Addiction Test (IAT), Exercise Habits, and demographics. Data were collected from September 21, 2015 to October 8, 2015. All data were processed using Chinese version of SPSS statistical software for windows 21.0 system to do descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Results:In this study, subjects were bound in sleep quality score 0-21 points, with the average total sleep quality score of 5.60 points (SD = 2.901). The average bed time for going to started at 23:23 (SD = 14.75). The average get up time was 7:43 am (SD = 11.74). The average total sleep hours was 6.2 hours (SD = 0.79). Mood status is statistically significant differences to sleep quality. Mood status is statistically relevant to sleep quality.Further analysis revealed that exercise habits do not have mediate effects on mood status and sleep quality. internet use behaviors have no significantly moderating effects on the association between mood status and exercise habits. and internet use behaviors have no significantly moderating effects on the association between exercise habits and sleep quality. Conclusions:The study showed that half of the college students were aware of their poor sleep quality. Depression and anxiety of significantly forecast the seven facets sleep. Stress state of subjective sleep quality、 sleep latency、sleep duration、sleep disturbancedaytime dysfunction、use of sleeping medication、daytime dysfunction have significant predictive power, mood status is serious, moderate, normal and mild persons have significant differences to the sleep quality. Internet used behaviors is one of the quality factor affecting student sleep quality. Recommendations: For internet users whose behavioral risk level, the higher the negative emotional state, the worse sleep quality. It is suggested that schools should pay attention to students' mental, emotional health and the importance of the issue of Internet addiction. In response to the different needs of students, Survey administration,for long-term tracking High-risk group, intervention counseling and other should be provided every semester methods. Arrangements emotional management courses, Advocacy sleep knowledge, and Provide timely ancillary support systems.
