Rechargeable battery possesses a large electric capacity to suit for various requirements, but the use of security still is acritical concerns.Although the focus of rechargeablebattery is practicality,the security is more important.Therefore,we should subject to emphcsis on the defining the relevant characteristic parameters through the experimental methods to obtain a reliable and safe battery. This study reported the charge and discharge be havior of 18650 lithium battery,and DC electronic load device (prodigit instrument professional 3302F) and DC power supply (programmable DC power DSP-030-025HD) are used in the charging and discharging of the lithium battery as a safe range test for the various battery safety parameters,such as V-sample time,I-sample time,Tem-sample time,V-tem,I-tem, R-sample time,and other changes amount,to provide the future of the battery safe operation in appropriate cicumstances and electrical condition, to prevent the occurrence of hazardous upsets.
