Specific expectations and suggestions were then proposed. The data on the interviews of the 9 parents from 7 families were gathered, organized, analyzed, and discussed. The conclusions are as follows: (a) The parents learned that their children should receive early intervention home visiting services through voluntary contact with and information from social workers. In other words, these parents satisfied the conditions of the Home Visiting Service Program for Children with Developmental Delay and received the early intervention information through the notification system and social workers from the case management centers. IV (b) The parents chose to receive the home visiting services after discussing the decision with their spouse or other family members and according to their family conditions. (c) The home visiting services involved class intervention on lingual communication and cognitive domains and enabling the development of the overall and specific social adaptation and independent living capabilities of the children, thereby improving their learning capabilities. (d) The attitudes and behaviors of the parents, with assistance from formal and informal resources, enabled the parents to gradually overcome problems such as financial difficulties, remote locations, inconvenient traffic, relationship problems and cultural differences with spouses, limited education, and pressure from the burden of care for children and older family members. According to the aforementioned conclusions, we provided suggestions for sociopolitical agencies, health care and education agencies, professional healthcare personnel, parents, and future research on early intervention home visiting services.
