Summary:碩士 === 華梵大學 === 工業設計學系碩士班 === 104 === The purposes of the research were to discuss the effects on creativity to the sixth graders in elementary school after wire sculpture course. The subjects of this study were sixth graders from one elementary school in Keelung City. Action research method and TTCT(Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking ) were taken. TTCT was attributed pre-post the implements of wire sculpture course for distinguishing students’ creative traits and performances of creativities. The qualitative data of students’ creation and their performance of creativity were analyzed after the implements of wire sculpture in visual arts curriculum. The results were as follows: 1.Wire sculpture course was beneficial to enhance creativities. It had obvious difference in “Fluency”, “Abstractness of Titles”, “Elaboration”, and “Resistance to Premature Closure”. 2.In gender analysis, it had obvious difference in “Fluency”, “Abstractness of Titles”, and “Resistance to Premature Closure” to boys. It had obvious difference in “Abstractness of Titles” and “Elaboration” to girls. 3.Wire sculpture course was beneficial to enhance students’ creativities on creation. According to the results, the researcher provided the suggestions for teachers and educational reasearchers as references .
