In the case of frequent confrontations between the said parties involved in education, teachers unable to teach carefree and students unable to learn happily will definitely produce unwanted consequences to educational development. Still, care ethics of Nel Noddings that seems a new approach to response such issue. This study consists of the following subsections. First, significance and causes of such state in association with the issues on moral education overlooked by the current educational environment are inquired. Second, disparity between care ethics and traditional ethics is assayed, and cultivation of capacity of care, methods of moral education and six curricula of care is estimated to tackle the current conflicts between teachers and students frequently seen. Furthermore it is asserted that a teacher should keep fine relations with students as a caring start-point, and apply “Modeling”, “Dialogue”, “Practice”, and “Confirm” as the four important methods of moral education, and enable students to be capable of caring for others by care-oriented curricular design. Finally, reflective remarks are stated in terms of the issues arising from actual practices via employment. This paper concludes that care relationships in addition to enactment of six curricula of care by Nel Noddings able to not only create the opportunity of reciprocal care between students and teachers but also inspire the students’ capacity of care, which closes the distance and improves the relations between the both. It should be an alternative view for teachers to employ care ethics to tackle the current severe conflicts between students and teachers. Lin, Yung-Chung 林永崇 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 110 zh-TW
