This study applied fuzzy theory to construct a framework of 3D TV image quality factors and get the weights for each of them. First of all, some 3D TV image quality factors were found through literature review. Second, fuzzy c-means algorithm was used to classify these factors into some main components and then the hierarchy architecture of fuzzy analytic network process (ANP) was constructed. Thirty participants were recruited to conduct the questionnaire survey and ergonomic experiment. From the calculation of fuzzy ANP, the weights for 3D TV image quality factors were obtained. Finally, the priority of 3D TVs with different brands was also obtained through the evaluation of alternatives in fuzzy ANP and it can be the reference for users’ 3D TV selection in the future. The results indicated that depth (W=28.58%), crosstalk (25.95%) and resolution (17.47) were the top three important factors affecting 3D TV image quality. Therefore, 3D TV manufacturers could consider these important factors into future 3D TV product design in order to promote customers’ purchase intention.
