In the digital financial times, the operations of electronic banking should be based on the demands of customers. The research focuses on corporate clients whose demands are varying from corporation to corporation to investigate the operations strategies of electronic banking from the perspectives of both clients and banks. The study presents a research framework after reviewing the related literatures of electronic commerce, electronic banking, operations management and strategies. Based on the framework, the research conducted case studies of four banks and three corporations that have used electronic banking for years. After analyzing and concluding the interviewing information, there are following findings: 1.The kernel value of electronic banking service is supplying services continuously for matching financial processes and customization of corporate clients. 2.The key resources of operating electronic banking are information systems and employees with information technology expertise, and the key factors of efficient operations are the capabilities of communication, service design and information technology. 3.The key quality of electronic banking is in line with the expectation of corporate clients for increasing effectiveness.
