For this study, the competition and training venues of Athletics, Swimming and Gymnastics were chosen from various sport venues. Furthermore, the research methods of this study were qualitative approach by using secondary data analysis and deep-interview. The secondary data were sourced from the official data of International University Sports Federation and the official reports of Taipei Summer Universiade preparation work. In addition, the interviewees came from the operational staffs of this mega event and the government officials who had the venue planning experiences. The results of this study showed that the current selected venues of Athletics, Swimming and Gymnastics were applicable for Taipei Summer Universiade. In the suggestions for future research, these studies could be explored on how to effectively allocate the required spaces of the events by integrating with the competition related works, and, on the other hand, the researcher could collect the previous data of Universide venue preparation to conduct longitudinal analysis. The results are as follows. (A) Venues for Athletics: A backup venue which is adjacent to and identical in parameters with the formal is needed. Note that the consistency among Taipei Stadium and other venues for training. (B) Venues for Swimming: It is found that the depth of both competition and training venues is insufficient. It is suggested that the sustainability of venues for swimming be planned for future application of sport events at high levels. (C) Venues for Gymnastics: Indoor space covers both genres of gymnastics; therefore, reconstruction of high magnitude is not required. It is advised that future tasks focus on the arrangement of indoor space and reduce the interference among various events held indoor.
