Questionnaires were the instruments of the study, and these questionnaires contains: a set of demographic characteristics, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, psychotic symptoms scale, Saint Louis University Mental Status Exam and Drug attitude Scale. The subjects of this study were the participants with schizophrenia attaining community rehabilitation programs from a regional hospital in Northern Taiwan. 123 participants were selected. They were from community psychiatric rehabilitation centers . halfway house, and Psychiatric Day Care . The subjects aged 20-65 years, literacy or education-primary, non-serious case of mental illness symptoms, conscious, and may oral communication who willing to participate in this study. The Statistical Analysis included descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics, including the normal frequency distribution and percentage distribution, mean value and variance, t-test, one-way ANOVA analysis, Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis. The research findings were indicated as follow:(1)The result showed that the average age was 43.26 ± 8.85, religious belief for 83.7 % , living relationship with their parents, spouses, children, brothers and sisters together accounted for 43.3%, encounter difficulties can find people to help account for 93.5%, first onset age of 22.15 ± 6.66, mean sick in the history of 21.11 ± 8.76 ; last year drug situation is completely in accordance with the physician opened doses accounted for 90.2%;(2) The Saint Louis University Mental Status Exam (SLUMS) average score 19.35 ± 5.20; (3) The spirit symptoms average score 12.48 ± 9.08; (4)The drug attitude scale average score for 56.04±6.75; (5)The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) average score 58.88 ± 14.89. Results revealed that the support systems, drug attitudes, psychiatric symptoms, participation in vocational rehabilitation groups were related with resilience significantly. Drug attitudes, psychiatric symptoms, participate in vocational rehabilitation organizations and religious significantly predicted resilience for Schizophrenia.
