碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 心理學系 === 104 === This research based on the psychobiographical methodology, to study the life of the female writer Xiao Hong. Although Xiao Hong's life is short, her experience is quite rich. She had a “drifted” life, and removed around. The ups and downs of her life must have a quite complicated psychological changes. Therefore, this research will be in accordance with the relevant theories of psychology, trying to explore and understand Xiao Hong’s "drifted" life. In other words, Xiao hong is how to live out her life in her ways, how to deal with various conflicts and contradictions in her life way, how to face the life choices, and how to pursue the meaning of life. In addition, according to the theoretical perspectives of “personal myths”, “sex roles”, “role mode”, “ideal home image”, “pursuing the meaning of life” of Xiao Hong, to explore her identity and life integration. Trying to understand that the character of Xiao Hong, the relationship between female, family and her under the times, and the reason she regards “writing” as the pursuit of life meaning.
