Description
Summary:碩士 === 佛光大學 === 管理學系 === 104 === Although the scholars, Milton Friedman claim on self-interest view point, denying companies need to take any social responsibility for the society. Whether social enterprise is entirely altruism or self-interest becoming a managerial problem which is lasting for a long time. This problem also bothers the current the managers and force them to make a decision in the dilemma. The authorities of the corporation, whether engaged in social enterprise or not, have shifted into a management philosophy. Because of social enterprises need to pay the tangible or intangible cost of manpower, time, money, etc. These extra costs cause some burden on the enterprises. Thus, managers may discourage or give up or even have the thought of waiting the companies which have earned sufficient profits and then the authority will engage in social enterprise. Through literature review, the research uses of questionnaires to investigate the intention of the company's management whether or not to be a social enterprise. The methodology is linear regression analysis. After the empirical analysis, this study finds that: Social Enterprise perception of managerial authorities has a positive and significant impact on the attitude of authorities engaged in social enterprise; the attitude of authorities engaged in social enterprise has a positive and significant impact on the intention of the authorities to be a social enterprise. The Government has some requirement of the listed companies which must engage in related social responsibility in the society. I believe the regulation of the government will have some real impact on the non-listed companies engaged in activities related to social enterprises.
