Summary:碩士 === 佛光大學 === 生命與宗教學系 === 104 === The propose of this study was to explore the effects of body awareness movement courses on body awareness ability for the junior high school students. The subject group of this study was the eighth grade students of Yi-lan Junior High School. Twenty-eight students (16 males and 12 females) took the six-week course. This study utilized the pretest-posttest experimental design. The six-week courses include body scan activity which is designed from Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction(MBSR). The Body Awareness Ability Inventory (BAAI) contains 11 items with four subscales ( unusual condition, breath, muscle tone, body use ). The major findings were as follows: 1.Body awareness movement courses could improve the better body awareness ability. 2.The results on the Body Awareness Ability Inventory showed that the experimental group developed better body awareness ability than the control group. 3.There were several positive improvements in body awareness ability for the 28 students, such as breathing awareness, body use, muscle tone, and the body awareness of unusual condition. key words: mindfulness、body scan、body awareness、breathing.
