Description
Summary:碩士 === 佛光大學 === 心理學系 === 104 === Examination has always been one of the pressure sources for students while schooling. Most Taiwanese students will have physically and mentally abnormal reactions and adjustment issues while facing examinations, known as the Test Anxiety, Previous studies indicated that test anxiety has a negative influence towards test grades and study motivations, while regular exercise can improve the physical and mental status and increase the ability to adapt pressure, which may have an effect in mitigating test anxiety. In addition, test anxiety has a negative correlation to general self-efficacy. These studies discovered that by increasing self-efficacy, test anxiety can be mitigated. Moreover, self-efficacy from specific areas, such as exercise, can be increased by specific training methods or hobbies. The purpose of this research is study the correlation between regular exercise and text anxiety, and examine that whether self-efficacy is the mediator variable for regular exercise and test anxiety. This research populates thirty nine current students; separate them into control group and experimental group based on their exercise history. Experimental group will perform regular exercise training by fast walking three times a week and thirty minutes per exercise for six weeks, and examine test anxiety and self-efficacy before and after the experiment. Our result shows that there is a strong correlation between regular exercise and test anxiety and regular self-efficacy, but shows no correlation with exercise self-efficacy. The hierarchical regression analysis shows that the mediation effect of regular and exercise self-efficacy is not strong. In conclusion, the research result had shown that six weeks regular exercise can mitigate test anxiety while increase self-efficacy of individuals. Our research result proved that regular exercise can mitigate test anxiety, which can be used for future promotion fundament of exercise.
