碩士 === 佛光大學 === 產品與媒體設計學系 === 104 === 　　Religion plays an important role in people’s lives. Buddhism is the largest religion in Taiwan, with the majority of the population practicing. Buddhist religion and culture can play a positive role with social functions that pertain to knowledge development, spiritual comfort, moral and ethical constraints, environmental education and health care. Currently, many experience activities take place that promote the ideals of Buddhism, with a focus on inspiring children. In the classical books and stories, the Buddha’s life can be sorted into 8 stages, known as the 8-phases of Buddhahood attainment. This is the basic framework for believers to begin in their engagement in Buddhism. Buddha paper dolls can be inserted in classrooms and other learning environments to communicates the basic ideas of Buddhism. With this activity-based course, we can promote the positive ideas of Buddhism. In the former implementation of the plan, we used the Modified Delphi Method to determine the selection factors of Buddhism and we summarized the factors into 4 aspects, which are Buddhism, Design, Marketing and the Whole entity. These aspects included 15 selected Buddhism themed factors and the 15 evaluated elements of Buddhism factors. By Grey Relational Analysis and Cluster Analysis, we evaluate the factors and construct a practical Buddhist cultural and creative model, then Buddha paper dolls are designed according to the factors on experiential teaching material of Buddhism. The new medium and pipelines can as a future reference of Buddhist cultural and creative experiential learning activities.
