Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 電聲碩士學位學程 === 104 === This study used the Leaky Filter-x Normalized Least Mean Square (Leaky Filter-x NLMS) algorithm to develop a feed-forward active noise control (ANC) system for the active control of noise in kitchen hoods. It is hoped that the resulting ANC system can effectively reduce the noise in kitchen hoods. With regard to hardware, a microphone amplifier was used to record and amplify the sound signal. In order to improve the ANC system, a low-pass filtered is developed. Additionally, this study presents a method how to choose a better placement point for noise reduction and placing the ANC system inside the bellows of kitchen hoods. This placement was tested for the function of noise reduction. With regard to the noise cancelling software for kitchen hoods, this study differed from past studies in that the Leaky Least Mean Squares (LMS) and NLMS algorithms were integrated in the traditionally applied Filter-x LMS algorithm. Consideration of new influencing factors can allow for more flexible changes and adjustments, thus providing more improvement schemes for controlling the noise caused by the complex structures of kitchen hoods.
