However, sustainable development becomes an essential issue in modernizing urban development. Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) had been mentioned in transportation planning in the framework of sustainable development. Furthermore, TOD can apply limited urban resources to the transportation corridor efficiently, besides, to inspire the potential of utility rate of mass transportation. Otherwise, the government can implement the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) making public transit system be sustainable in financial issue. In my study, using ANOVA to infer the best distance between MRT stations and the influence range of TOD in the urban development also the location of stations. With housing prices trend analysis in Taichung MRT green line, the best distance between MRT stations is 375m to 650m.
