Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 產業研發碩士班 === 104 === With population aging in Taiwan society, and young people’s eating preference tend to high oil, high sugar and high calories. The trend leads to which the population ratio having Arterial Stiffness becomes higher than before. Arterial Stiffness is one of pointer about cardiovascular diseases, if we can find phenomenon about Arterial Stiffness early as possible, we’ll prevent cardiovascular diseases early as possible, too. Oximeter, which is a common healthy evaluation device in family, is only used to measure SpO2 and pulse rate, but it can’t prevent cardiovascular diseases. This research focus on how to build the function of the measurement of Arterial Stiffness based on the photoplethysmography signals detected by an Oximeter circuit. It can analysis the signals to provide the degree of Arterial Stiffness of users. This thesis uses Arduino Mega 2560 as core of the system, by using PWM to control finger probe light, and analyze PPG signal received from ADC input. Beer-Lambert’s law is used to calculate SpO2, by using the relation between percussion wave and dicrotic wave from PPG signals to calculate stiffness index, then display the result on the monitor. Furthermore, we statistically analyze relation between Stiffness index and age, and divides Stiffness Index into seven level to evaluate status about artery.
