Taiwan’s tourism industry has seen significant growth since year 2010. In order to make sure the number can be sustained and grow continuously, a lot of research has to be done to find out what is the factor that will make tourists visit and revisit Taiwan. According to Lonely Planet (2014), Taiwan was ranked No. 8 as the best value destinations for 2015. This is a good news for Taiwan because more and more tourists will visit or revisit Taiwan. Therefore, the data for this study will provide a platform for all the respective party to analysis the wants and needs of the tourist. Once the needs and wants are satisfied, with a high level of tourist satisfaction will lead to the intention to revisit Taiwan in the future.
This study is to indicate the relationship between the destination image, tourist attitude, tourist satisfaction and the revisit intention toward Taiwan. Oversea students were used as target respondents to find out what the e four variables the factor that will affect their intention to revisit back to Taiwan. Based on the results of the study destination image, tourist attitude, and tourist satisfaction do affect the intention to revisit intention. The Taiwan Government and all the respective parties can use the data to do some changes to enhance the preservation and conservation no matter the attractions, services, or images to make sure more and more tourist will visit and revisit Taiwan in the future.
