This study is to investigate the correlations between the turnover rate of nursing staff and the possible factors, which include self-efficacy of nursing staff, job burnout, and turnover intention. This study is designed for central and southern nursing staff in Taiwan and it was conducted through a questionnaire. A total of 256 questionnaires, 238 valid questionnaires were obtained with 92.9 % effective rate. Results from the analysis showed that self-efficacy has significant negative influence on turnover intention and job-burnout. On the contrary, job-burnout has significant positive influence on turnover intention. Emotional exhaustion of job-burnout, personal accomplishment and depersonalization also showed significant positive influence on turnover intention respectively.
