Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 環境工程學系碩士在職專班 === 104 === In this study a teaching-mode with information technology incorporating into environmental ecology had been carried out to investigate the affection of knowledge for elementary school students. Questionnaire was applied to the fifth graders of Tai-Ping Elementary School in Changhua County. The participants were divided into two groups such as the experimental group applied information technology incorporating into teaching and the control group applied by the didactic-instruction. Data acquired from the questionnaire were analyzed by SPSS with tests as descriptive statistic, independent samples t-test, paired samples t-test, one-way ANOVA and ANCOVA. The results of this study are concluded as below: (1) Those tests about student gender, inquiring the ecology knowledge by computer, the time of computer usage, etc. show no significance related to the knowledge of ecology. (2) Application of integrating information technology incorporating into teaching as well as didactic-instruction show significance related to the knowledge of ecology. (3) Both experimental group and control group show no significance related to the knowledge of ecology on preceding test. Nevertheless, both groups all show significance on the ecological knowledge by following test through ANCOVA. (4)The effect of information technology incorporating into teaching is better than didactic-instruction. Finally the result of this study can give proper suggestions to teachers, the school administrations and future researchers on environmental ecology.
