Overusing the Internet leads the internet addiction that become some problems in society. The study aims at the elementary students to research internet addiction and academic performance. The object of study is 10 to 12 years old children at one of the language school in Changhua. We sent out 252 questionnaire to children .The returned questionnaire were 249. The invaild questionnaires were 9 ,the valid questionnaires were 240 and the effective rate was 95%. Using Descriptive statistics, T-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson Product- Moment Correlation analyzes the sources. The result shows that : First, the different background of the elementary students have the greatly apparent in internet addiction that get supports from questionnaires. Second, leading to internet addiction of the different way to use Internent that students have different performance that get supports from questionnaires. Third, the different background of the elementary students have the greatly apparent in their academic performance that get supports from the questionnaires. Fourth, the different way to use Internent that students have different performance in their academic performance that get supports from questionnaires.Fifth, the elementary students suffer from internet addiction and their academic performance that have the greatly negative relationship.
