| Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 管理學院碩士在職專班 === 104 === Firefighters always have to save and rescue lives in the first place no matter how extreme and high-pressure the environments are. In order to face these environments and release such high pressure, firefighters need to have strong bodies and choose appropriate leisure sports for themselves. This research is to study the firefighters ‘participating motivation and sports attitudes toward their leisure sports in Taichung City and the results of this research can be provided to Taichung City Government Authorities for their references. The questionnaire survey method was applied in this study. The study object is firefighters who works in Taichung City. The study tools for this research are “Leisure Sports Participating Motivation Scale “and “ Leisure Sports Attitude Scale”. According to the study results, the researcher found out that 1. Firefighters with different gender, salary and years at work variables, their attitudes toward sports have significant differences. 2. Firefighters with different salary, marital status and years at work variables, their sports participating motivation have significant differences. 3. Firefighters ‘sports participating motivation and their attitudes toward sports have positive relevant relationship. 4. Firefighters with different variables have significant influence on their leisure sports participating motivation.
