The benefit of organization can be decreased, when employee who is situated at situation of role stress selects negative impression management as their countermeasure. The purpose of the research is to demonstrate the relationship between role stress (including role ambiguity, role conflict and role overload) and negative impression management, and also the modulation effect of perceived supervisor support and perceived organizational support in this relationship. This study’s samples are employees who work at different organizations. In total, 288 valid questionnaires were returned with a valid response rate of 85 percent. We performed hierarchical regression analysis to test our hypotheses. The result showed that positive relationship between role overload and negative impression management.
