Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 教育專業發展研究所 === 104 === The main purpose of this study was to explore the relationships between parenting styles, teacher expectation and peer interaction of the elementary school students, as well as the difference among background variables.
The study was conducted through the questionnaire-survey method. Subjects were 915 elementary school students from Miaoli. The questionnaires were evaluated by “ parenting style scale ” , ” teacher expectation scale” and “ peer interaction scale ”. The collected data underwent descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, and multiple hierarchical regression analysis.
The results of the study were as follows: (a) There were significant differences in the different background variables of the elementary school students concerning parenting style, teacher expectation and peer interaction. (b) There were significant positive correlations in terms of parenting style, teacher expectation and peer interaction. (c) Gender, Parents’ response and Teachers’ life caring could significantly predict peer interaction.
