Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 環境工程學系碩士班 === 104 === Due to the climate changes, environmental protection action and policy are determined in many countries. However, recycled toilet paper (RTP) is laid less stress than on other green products. The purposes of this study are to investigate consumption behavior of recycled toilet paper in Taiwan and the relationship between consumers’ cognition of RTP and green consumption behavior.
The participants were from the family in Changhua County in Taiwan. 601 questionnaires were sent and 561 questionnaires were returned. After deducting invalid questionnaires, 553 valid samples were counted. The effective recovery rate was 92.01%. All statistical analyses were performed using SPSS 12.0. Exploratory factor analysis, reliability, correlation analysis, variance analysis and regression analysis to explore the effects of different background variables、green consumption attitude and the cognition of RTP on green consumption behavior were used.
The results of the research indicated that: (1) the cognition of RTP and green consumption attitudes are significantly correlated; (2) “price” is the most significantly considering factor, representing 37.9% of valid samples, followed by “softness” 35.2%、”brand” 20.3%、”environment benefits” 15.8%, and the lowest is the “whiteness” of 1.5%; (3) the majority of the consumers have the positive concept of the green consumption, 88.4% of the respondents would choose green products as a top priority; (4) 77.3% of the respondents who taking the "price" as the top consideration indicated that it was acceptable that the price of green products were higher than others; (5) levels of education are significantly different from the overall cognition of RTP; (6)35.8% of consumers still have hesitations in the hygiene of RTP.
