| Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 企業管理學系碩士班 === 104 === At present, Taiwan has many infrastructural problems in agriculture sector. Exploitation by the middlemen is the reason put forth for not getting the best price for the produce of the farmers. In other words, market failure exists and makes small farmers more vulnerable. Some agricultural type of social enterprises try to solve this problem through adopting different types of business models. In this paper, two different agricultural social enterprises were selected as the main study subjects. In order to understand the effectiveness of agricultural social enterprises, the researcher will interview and use comparative analysis to study and compare their business models, In this paper, the researcher will show the status of the type of social enterprises in the literature review section. The development of social enterprise is still in its infancy stage in Taiwan. The government will ask different departments to formulate social enterprises related action programs to facilitate the development of social enterprises. The results of this study will provide some insights to this issue and hopefully serve as an input to those much needed action programs.
