Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 休閒事業管理系 === 104 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects among students’ body image, facebook using behavior and interpersonal relationship for middle school students.
In this study, a questionnaire census was conducted, total of 936 valid questionnaires were collected. The results showed that the majority of students are third grade and boys. Nearly ninety percent of junior high school students use facebook by their smartphones, and most of them use it every day with less than half hour each time. The students have moderate degree of care in body image; about medium low of facebook using behavior and medium high level of interpersonal relationship.
The correlation analysis and regression analysis showed that body image and interpersonal relationship have significant positive correlation, and facebook using behavior have significant positive impact on interpersonal relationship, individually.
Besides that, MANOVA indicated that both body image and Facebook using behavior have significant differences on gender; and the same of interpersonal relationship on both of grade and gender.
Therefore, this study suggests that one should emphasis the concept of body image, use the facebook as a media between teachers and students, and promote the safety usage of facebook. Thus, the students could have a proper body image and diversely interactive learning, and hence, to enhance their interpersonal relationship both in Facebook and reality.
