碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 保險金融管理系 === 104 === The study aims to: discuss related studies on athletes’ psychological needs for sport-induced enjoyment and satisfaction, and make predictions based on the analyzed results. The subjects are 181 college sports representatives, including 116 males and 65 females. The method to carry out this study is using a survey, which includes “the scale of sport-induced enjoyment” and “the scale of satisfaction” as the measures. After the data collection, the analysis of data is carried out by means of basic descriptive statistics, Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. The results indicate that there is a significant positive correlation between athletes’ psychological needs and their enjoyment as well as satisfaction. In addition, a positive frame of mind of an athlete guarantees his/her enjoyment and satisfaction in sports. The study proposes ideas about practical application and future research.
