This kind of satellite smart taxi dispatch system can truly grasp taxi whereabouts of the vehicle to allow customer feel safety, and in enhance taxi service quality and operational efficiency. Currently on the market of intelligent satellite taxi dispatch system has reached maturity. This study investigates taxi driver’s acceptance of Intelligent Satellite Dispatch System. To understand the preference of taxi drivers after they used the smart taxi dispatch system, safety factors, economic factors, social factors, and customer satisfaction are the main factors that this study used. A questionnaire survey is conducted to taxi driver of Taichung city. The survey includes the needs of taxi driver to the Intelligent Satellite Taxi Dispatch System, the acceptance and the taxi driver basic information. A total of 350 are sent and 303 valid questionnaires are returned. For data analysis, this study use Technology Accepted Model to analyze the adoption decision of taxi driver. This study finds that safety factors, economic factors, social factors and customer satisfaction are significantly affect the perceived ease of use, and also the relationship between these 4 factors with the attitude of user is mediated by perceived usefulness. Based on the conclusions, some useful suggestions about the promotion and policy development on the future intelligent taxi dispatch system are provided.
