Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 104 === This technical report focuses on the riser processing of the case company. From plotting manufacturing process and measuring cycle time of each process using time study, the performance of the as-is system was gathered. Cause-and-effect analysis and time study are applied to the as-is system to further identify potential improvement area. After that, TPS (Toyota Production System), 5W1H, and ECRS (Eliminate/Combine/Rearrange/Simplify) are applied to improve the yield of the riser processing , as well as to shorten production cycle time. This technical report outlines the process of every improvement on the riser processing. For example, the lean concept of TPS and the method of ECRS are implemented to improve operation and travel times of operators. By introducing semi-automatic equipment, the number of operations and times an operator spent on machine for a riser processing are significantly reduced. The performance improvements are addressed in terms of cycle time reduction, throughput increasing, and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) increasing.
