On a spiritual level there’s a sense of mutual interconnection.”(Morehead and Jiang, 2011:26). The modern fast-paced lifestyle, the unrelenting pressure of work, and the increasing air and environmental pollution, are causing people to become physically or mentally exhausted, tense, and urgently in need of relaxation and rest. The SPA can provide us a comfortable space to relax, rest, and take care of our body and soul. This design is inspired by green elements and SPA hydrotherapy, allowing both female and male users to relax their tense bodies through interaction between green, water, and light in a three-floor private guest house. As a result of the ambient atmosphere, context, and the temperature variations of the hydrotherapy SPA, users are able to achieve a state of relaxation through the gradual easing of the body, and then the mind.
