Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 室內設計研究所 === 104 === From our daily lives, we often had the indescribable sensory experiences toward architecture, sculpture, fine art, design and any kind of creation which is related to art. In the perspective of science, scientists are trying to find out a systematical operating mechanism to explain this indecipherable perception. In short, in this changeable world, not only brains can filter the unchanged element and extract it from the brains, but artists can discover the unchanged spirit and value through their own works. Cognitive Neuroscience is one of the opening gate for us to explore the mysterious connection between brain and mind. The operating mechanism of brain not only determines the way we recognize the world, but also helps us to gain more abundant aesthetic satisfaction and experience through viewing certain subjects. Under the premise that the argument of brains generating mind in cognitive neuroscience is tenable, I propose a hypothesis of the relation between visual brain and aesthetic experience: There is an operating mechanism which is responsible for delivering messages of dimensional visual aesthetics. Through analyzing the different comprehensions of visual artworks from people in different fields, I will further discuss the formation and performance in the threedimensional space by adopting the perspective of cognitive neuroscience. The main research methods are literature review, case study and space operations simulation. The main purposes of the research are for discussing 1. The “partial” and “overall” spatial performance 2. The “boundary and ambiguousness” of the space 3. The “dynamic” of the space. The final results of this paper will be presented in the form of a composite exchange platform for spatial design at the commercial center in Beijing.
