Summary: | 碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 營建工程研究所 === 104 === In order to establish a more perfect urban style and improve the quality of living environment, control of urban design has become an important procedure in the various urban development processes nowadays. Nei-wei-pi Cultural Park Special District of Kaohsiung City was the first district in Kaohsiung City implementing control of urban design, and has presented preliminary results after development for several years. Nevertheless, the specified control contents for preservation and establishment of open space mainly focus on prioritizing public open space along the streets, without formulating any related regulations for preservation and establishment of open space inside the base. Therefore, the open space is found to be too centralized or decentralized, resulting in a poorly planned construction base. Not only the open space lacks an overall extensibility, the distance between the buildings on the base is too narrow, deriving the environmental problems of poor daylighting and poor ventilation.
In view of this, the study explores and analyzes preservation and establishment of open space inside the base, and proposes the related improvements and suggestions. The study mainly uses the research methods of field surveys and case studies to explore the current development of Nei-wei-pi Cultural Park Special District and the problems relating to preservation and establishment of open space inside the base. Through field trips, we are able to know the patterns of use of the buildings, the form and distribution of the buildings, as well as preservation and establishment of open space inside the base already constructed. Through the base layout plan, the study explores the form of open space preservation and establishment inside the base, their advantages and disadvantages, and extensibility of the space allocation on its neighboring construction bases, and also analyzes the factors for poor preservation, establishment and allocation of open space. The study establishes a set of integrated open space preservation and establishment system maps for streets as well as the related control regulations and principles, and also explores adoption of the study’s possible preservation and establishment form of overall open space after the control.
Through exploration of the existing preservation and establishment problems of open space on the base of Nei-wei-pi Cultural Park Special District, the study reviews the insufficient parts in the existing land use control and urban design regulations, and proposes the related improvements and suggestions to serve as a reference for other special districts to formulate the related regulations in future, or serve as an idea for the related competent authorities to make comprehensive consideration.
