Summary: | 碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 104 === Taiwanese Government since late 1990 has receiving foreign workers, open legitimate business into the use of foreign workers. According to Ministry of Labor statistics, to the end of 2015, total has 58.740 foreign workers in Taiwan. The type of industrial foreign workers has 363.584 people, Vietnamese workers are the most. The type of social service foreign workers has 224.356 people, Indonesian workers are the most. The enterprise hires workers, they are often concerned about employees' ability and willingness to work. For foreign workers, because of different language and culture, want to understand the feelings of the work of foreign workers, the ability to work and willingness to work will be more difficult. This study is designed to investigate the work ability and willingness to work of Vietnamese workers in Taiwan utilizing the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP). Primarily, the results of this study aims to aid the foreign labor sector in their management decision processes. AHP is an explorative analytical tool that analyzes intricacies of the Vietnamese laborer in terms of work ability and willingness to work. A total of 50 valid questionnaires were subjected to statistical analysis and the results are as followed:
(1)Ability to work is largely influenced by “Work Environment & Organization” and “Personal skills”. The next are “Personal qualities” and “Work design”.
(2)Willingness to work is largely influenced by “Salary and Welfare”, followed by “Personal mental state and Planning”, “Work experience” and “Family and community support”.
(3)In the second level of Ability to Work, five most influential factors are: “Problem solving Capacity”, “Physical environment work”, “The clarity of work”, “Training” and “Personal Health”.
(4)In the second level of Willingness to Work, five most influential factors are: “Work and Life Security”, “Life Planning”, “Life and Hostel Welfare”, “The Preference level of Job categories” and “Salaries and Bonuses”
The results of this study aims to improve Vietnamese labor management policy and performance of foreign labors.
