Although it is artificial, the rationale for delivering an image manipulation is to gain the social interactions. Exercise Dependence proposed by Veale (1987) describes a phenomenon when workout becomes an obsessive-compulsive disorder. A common case study is an unexpected incident occurs to interrupt the people with Exercise Addiction’s workout plan. They will act in a stereotyped pattern, the physical and mental withdrawal symptom, shown in 24 to 36 hours. PURPOSE: The study aims to establish the scales of Exercise Dependence. METHODS: The Standards to define the scales of Exercise Dependence have been advised by the professors, who teach sports psychology at the university, psychologist, and physicians. With the analysis of each exercise item in accordance to various factors, the questionnaire investigating the scales of Exercise Dependence is created. This targets the actual status of the different gym members. RESULT: 1. The Standards to classify the scale of Exercise Dependence: In this research, it shows significant factors seen in distinct sport areas. People with either Exercise Dependence or Exercise Addiction: (1) Types of Sports: group fitness versus individual exercise. This category illustrates the significant difference at p = .002 <.05. (2). The average of workout time: 30-60 minutes versus 120-180 minutes. This factor shows the significant difference at p = .024 <.05. CONCLUSION: Exercise benefits the body, but excessive exercise may cause the physical injury or mental disorders. Yang,Jung-Chien 楊榮俊 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 73 zh-TW
