Summary: | 碩士 === 中央警察大學 === 警察政策研究所 === 104 === DWI poses a major threat to the traffic order and public safety. It not only endangers the drivers, but also put innocent pedestrians’ lives at risk. It will seriously imperil social stability and destroy numbers of families. According to statistics from the National Police Agency (NPA), drunk driving accidents has been one of the leading causes for fatality traffic accidents in Taiwan over the past ten years.
The study analyzes the behavior and crucial points of DWI by comparing penalties imposed among different countries, and by evaluating drunk driving violations and drunk driving accidents statistics released by the NPA. It provides the assessment about the Driving While Intoxicated Prevention measures as a job performance evaluation indicator and verify the variety. The research will recommend some suggestions of drunk driving prevention and control for law enforcement issues for future progress.
This thesis analyzes the relevant literature and verify the existing factors of drunk driving prevention performance assessment. It uses the “consistent fuzzy preference relations (CFPR) method to decreases a large number of comparisons and increases the efficiency and definition of decision-making. This method can solve the problem of consistency and find out the difference of each indicator. Through the questionnaire to experienced police officers, the study would discuss and verify subject consciousness, recognition, and practical experience from different levels.
