In this study, we attempted to evaluate the effect on dispelling fatigue for freshener (coffee was used) by Electroencephalography (EEG), in order to explore the effect on freshener for dispelling fatigue. 22 college students aged 18-24 participated as volunteer subjects. The experiment was divided into before, during and after drinking coffee. Three stages were used in this study including before drinking as first stage, drinking lasting 30 min as second stage, after drinking for 30min as third stage. The results showed that the awaked level and drowsiness level had significantly changes. It shows that drinking coffee had a significant effect on dispelling fatigue. The indoor job consciously of subjective the fatigue assessment scale, showing before and after drinking refreshing drinks, the degree of dispelling fatigue is also significantly. For the subjective refreshing drinks for relieving fatigue the effect is also obvious. The finding is the effect on dispelling fatigue by consuming coffee is not overall. Drinking coffee to dispel fatigue may be partially effective. It provides the coffee consumers renew the concept of the effect on dispelling fatigue by drinking coffee.
